Delete Your Data
Effective Date: 1 January 2026 · Last Updated: 7 October 2026
Passbook does not require you to create an account, and the transactions, balances and SMS data it uses are stored locally on your device. You are always in control of that data and can remove it at any time. This page explains how.
1. Delete all Passbook data from your device
Because your passbook data lives on your phone, you can remove it completely yourself:
- Open your phone's Settings and go to Apps (or Applications).
- Find and open Passbook.
- Tap Storage, then Clear Data (and Clear Cache) to erase all stored transactions and balances, or
- Tap Uninstall to remove the App and all of its local data from your device.
You can also revoke Passbook's SMS permission at any time under Settings → Apps → Passbook → Permissions.
2. Cancel your subscription first
Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription. If you have a paid plan, cancel it from your UPI AutoPay mandate or Google Play subscriptions before uninstalling. See our Refund Policy for details.
3. Delete any records held by us
If we hold any limited support or billing records relating to you, you can ask us to delete them. Email support@kiranaapps.com from your registered contact with the subject line "Delete My Data". We will verify your request and delete eligible records within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain billing records by law.
