Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all payments made through the AlertPe Soundbox App and website (collectively referred to as the "Service"), operated by SM9 Media ("we", "us", "our").

By authorizing a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy, along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Payments and Authorization

  • All payments made through UPI AutoPay, debit/credit cards, or any other approved payment method are processed only after user authorization.
  • By completing a transaction, you confirm that you are the rightful account holder or have proper authorization to use the selected payment method.
  • Once a payment is authorized, it will be processed through our secure payment gateway in compliance with RBI and NPCI guidelines.

2. Subscription Plans

AlertPe Soundbox may offer recurring or one-time subscription plans to access premium features or services. Each plan's validity and pricing will be displayed clearly at the time of purchase.

  • Monthly Plan: ₹149 - Valid for 30 days
  • Quarterly Plan: ₹399 - Valid for 90 days
  • Annual Plan: ₹1499 - Valid for 365 days

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered only in specific and verifiable cases:

  • Duplicate Payments – If a user is charged more than once for the same service due to a technical issue.
  • Technical Failure – If payment was successfully deducted, but the service or subscription was not activated.
  • Post-Cancellation Debit – If a UPI AutoPay charge was made after a valid cancellation before the debit date.

All refund claims will undergo internal verification and confirmation from our payment gateway or UPI partner before approval.

4. Non-Refundable Payments

Refunds are not applicable in the following situations:

  • User-initiated cancellations after successful service activation.
  • Change of mind or accidental payments.
  • Partially used subscription periods.
  • Issues caused by factors outside our control (e.g., network failures, UPI downtime, or device-related errors).

Once a valid service or subscription is provided, the payment becomes non-refundable.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be requested within 7 days of the initial purchase or renewal to be eligible for a refund.
  • Users can cancel their recurring mandate anytime directly through their UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.).
  • Canceling AutoPay will prevent future renewals but will not entitle the user to a refund for past payments.
  • Subscription access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Manual or One-Time Purchases

One-time purchases are final and non-cancelable once processed, except within the 7-day cancellation window.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
  • Processing time may vary depending on the user's bank, UPI app, or payment provider.
  • You will be notified via email once a refund has been initiated.

7. Invoices and Disputes

  • To request an invoice, email us at support@kiranaapps.com within 7 days of your transaction.
  • In case of a payment dispute, please contact us first before initiating any chargeback or reversal with your bank.
  • Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

8. Taxation and Compliance

  • All fees are inclusive of applicable Indian GST, unless otherwise mentioned.
  • All transactions comply with relevant RBI, NPCI, and digital payment regulations of the Government of India.

9. Jurisdiction

  • This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
  • All disputes arising out of or related to this Policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the revised date will be updated above.

Your continued use of our Service after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by AlertPe Soundbox and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

12. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your personal information.

13. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party UPI payment services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of these third-party services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms of Service will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
